The journey of a health practitioner often begins with a deep desire to help others heal. Faced with the choice between conventional medicine and alternative therapies, you chose the natural path—embracing a holistic approach to health. After completing your training and opening your practice, you may feel ready to make a difference. But are you truly prepared? If you’re a non-state licensed practitioner, the answer might be no. That’s where Ecclesiastical Licensing comes in.

Non-state licensed natural health practitioners face significant legal challenges that are often overlooked. While liability insurance and staying within a safe scope of practice are common considerations, the question remains: are you legally licensed to provide your services? Chiropractors and naturopathic physicians have state licensing, but countless natural practitioners lack the legal framework to offer their services without risk. Even some state-licensed providers extend beyond their legal scope by offering products and services not covered under their licenses.GEHA (Guardian Ecclesiastical Holistic Association), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, provides holistic practitioners with Ecclesiastical Licensing supported by the 1st and 14th Amendments of the U.S. Constitution. This licensing enables practitioners to legally and responsibly offer natural health services while adhering to a defined scope of practice and local laws.
